Frédéric Mitterrand
Frédéric Mitterand was born on August 21st 1947 in Paris.
Director of films and documentaries, radio and television presenter, columnist and author.
Director of the Académie de France in Rome from 2008 to 2009, Minister of Culture and Communication from 2009 to 2012.
‘BONSOIR’: it is with these words that Frédéric Mitterand greeted his viewers when he began his TV programs. It is an ordinary word, but the intonation one uses can turn it into a signature.
Frédéric Mitterand, alone on the stage for the first time, offers the audience a reading from some of his own texts, namely La Mauvaise Vie, a fictional autobiography published in 2005, Le Festival de Cannes (2007), Une Adolescence (2015) and My remorses are regrets (2016).
