For almost twelve centuries, the Olympic Games represented sports events, but also social and cultural
events, the most important event in the Ancient Greek calendar.
The classic foundations of Greek
Democracy has always been an inspiration, namely the ideas of Pericles, presenting the arts and sports events as annual gatherings where citizens did their democratic duty.
My desire to create the events that make this gathering possible finds its roots in this conception, this way of rediscovering and reinforcing this civic and democratic feeling.
The 2024 Paris Olympic Games are an ideal opportunity to associate the Arts and the Olympic Games
once again.
Allowing neither respite nor compromise, we must try to unite our different origins and traditions to aim
at the shared experience of a really civilized society, Getting to know our origins and returning to the
foundations of our society imply vital knowledge that we must share to understand the present and build the future.
It is this desire that drives me to create this project, In the same way the five Olympic rings
represent the meeting of the five continents, the aim of this creation would be to get professional
actors and representatives of everyday society to reflect, discuss, and debate on the subjects of education, health, culture, justice, and solidarity, all this during the whole of the Games.
Just as the stadium is the place where sports events take place and are celebrated during the Games, the stage would be the place for reflection, for a plural society, the place for relationships. It would be an open space for all.
